Drake finally drops the ‘Please Forgive Me’ short Film

The 23 minute short film starring Drake in the lead role was originally planned to be released on September 30, but the project then became available on the 26th of September, as an apple music exclusive.
The 23 minute Please Forgive Me features Drake in the lead role, the short film also stars artists like Popcaan, Soni Chidiebere, Kyla Reid and Fanny Neguesha. The film contains seven songs from the current album Views.
The film was directed by Anthony Mandler who co-wrote the script with Larry Jackson; who is Apple’s Head of Music Content. Mandler who is the one behind Drake’s “Over”, “Fancy” and “Miss Me” music vidoes, as well as music videos from Rihanna such as “Only Girl in the World”, “Diamonds” and “Disturbia”.
The Please Forgive Me film was filmed in Soweto in Johannesburg, South Africa, in July in advance to the beginning of Drake and Future’s Summer Sixteen Tour. The film is the second visual to surface since release of the album Views. Since the release of the music video “Child’s Play”, other singles from the album, for instance “Too Good”, “Pop Style” or “Controlla” and as well as the top charting Billboard Hot 100 “One Dance”, videos of those singles have not yet been put out by the artist.
